From her high school darkroom days, to full time wedding and family photography, Kelsie leaned into her passion of capturing couples’ stories as they unfold. As a student of the Art Institute of Boston and Maine Photographic Workshops, art has always been an outlet for Kelsie. In addition, her Culinary Arts and Hospitality degree and extensive experience in catering and event management, gives her an advantageous eye for the details. Enjoying colors, fabrics, and florals, she is able to capture both the celebratory love shared at a wedding as well as the design and beauty surrounding the couple and their guests.
What began as photographing her friend’s babies, quickly became a love of photographing her own. As Kelsie’s world evolved she was seeing how quickly life changed, which encouraged her to begin photographing more of her own to preserve life’s moments. Kelsie launched Kelsie Elizabeth Photography full time in 2015 and proudly serves couples across the East Coast cherishing the relationships she builds; Documenting her couples' stories from marriage to parenthood and all of those important family milestones along the journey is what truly fires Kelsie up.
Her love story began on a cattle ranch, as a personal chef where she met and fell in love with a cowboy. When Kelsie isn’t photographing weddings or documenting your sweet babies and family life, you can find her living alongside that cowboy - now husband, two littles, and enjoying a perfectly imperfect and often chaotic life. She often finds herself planning their next big road trip, hiking, or vegging on a good pizza and movie night as a family.

In a very real sense not one of us is qualified, but it seems that God continually chooses the most unqualified to do his work, to bear his glory. If we are qualified, we tend to think that we have done the job ourselves. If we are forced to accept our evident lack of qualification, then there's no danger that we will confuse God's work with our own, or God's glory with our own.
My love language is quality time. I love date nights with my husband. We are intentional with our time together as many weekends are filled with kids activities and wedding seasons. Conveniently, it has become easier to have a date during the week or during the day. We love a good adventours day date.
As graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Providence campus, I have always loved food. It's what connects us, brings people together, and allows us to "break bread together". I also am a sucker for a tasting menu, michelin star restaurant, and any local "hole in the wall" wild foodie experience.
