Emily and Noah, met while attending Davidson College in North Carolina. Although they had different educational goals – he was studying theology, and she was pursuing a career in medicine – their shared curiosity for the world around them connected them in an unbreakable bond of love and admiration.
On June 18th, 2022, Emily and Noah said their “I do’s” at the historic Davidson College Presbyterian Church before heading over to The Peninsula Club for a night of celebration with family and friends.
As avid Star Wars fans, Emily and Noah made sure to incorporate elements from the movie into the occasion. For their entrance as a married couple, Emily and Noah walked out to Light Saber swords brandished proudly in each member of the wedding party’s hand. As guests enjoyed the reception, Darth Vader himself made an appearance – no doubt hired by Emily’s mother – adding a spark of fun into the mix!
The eventful day was complete with many other unique touches honoring their favorite movie series, including a wedding cake shaped like R2D2 and lightsaber favors given to guests at dinner. Still, most importantly, it was filled with love, laughter, and joy, reflecting Emily and Noah’s own vibrant personalities.
It was truly an unforgettable occasion that all those in attendance will fondly reminisce about as one of the best weddings they have ever been a part of!
